In this podcast, Swami Mukundananda answers a question related to progress in the Spiritual Path of a seeker when his or her family is in disagreement with the Spiritual Path the person is undertaking. While our family and friends may or may not encourage us to progress in our spiritual journey, the way reacts to it is completely within our control. The goal is to continue progressing in our journey despite any obstacles in our life. When our family members express their disagreement on the spiritual path we are undertaking, we should give them the benefit of the doubt. We should also be more intelligent in handling things with them, knowing what we can and cannot change within our family with regard to spirituality. Once we have this understanding, we should try to help them by giving them the knowledge of the spiritual path and its importance, while moving on with the things that we cannot change. This way we will be undisturbed in our spiritual journey despite any disagreements. The good news is one person progressing in spiritual path has the potential to transform the complete Family into getting into this path and attain the divine bliss of God.

Swami Mukundananda in this podcast explains the role of a Guru and his guidance in managing our mind and elevating ourselves. To manage ourselves, we need to manage our mind. To manage our mind, we need the help of a Guru. When we went to School, Colleges to learn subjects, we always relied upon a teacher who is an expert in that field to educate us. The same philosophy applies to our mind management as well for which we need a teacher who has realized the absolute truth and elevated his mind. The Guru should be 'Shrotriya' and 'Brahmanistha' - meaning the Guru should have the theoretical knowledge of the scriptures and practically realized the essence of that knowledge. When we surrender ourselves to such a Guru and serve him with humility, the Guru will guide us to the way through with we can manage and elevate our mind and realize the Absolute Truth. 💡 Register to Daily Sadhana Program: https://mydailysadhana.org/ 🛒 Buy Swami Mukundananda’s Literature: https://www.jkyog.org/store 📆 Attend Swamiji’s Yoga, Meditation, and Inspiring Lectures in Your City.
