We have discussed before that Happiness is our choice and it's in our own mind. How can we tap that Fountain source of happiness within us? Swami Mukundananda encourages us to count all the blessings we have in our lives and feel grateful for them. The problem is when we have something, sometimes we don't tend to value that so much, but when that the same thing gets snatched away from us, then regaining it gives us so much happiness that we remember how blessed we were to be possessing that thing in the first place. Happiness is not an external object, but it is a choice of attitudes that we make. Choose Happiness Again and Again. This is the Happiness tool that we need to practice on Day 2 of the Happiness Challenge. On Day 2 of the Happiness Challenge, Swami Mukundananda explains to us that Happiness is an Attitude and a choice we make. Sometimes people look for external objects of Happiness, but no matter how much wealth we acquire or how much materialistic pleasures the world can give to us unless we come in touch the Fountain source of happiness that is within us, we cannot be truly happy. When we choose to contend with what we have then we can be happy right at this moment. Therefore, it's important for us to understand that Happiness is an Attitude, a choice of our own mind and we should decouple our Happiness from the external objects.

On Day 1 of the Happiness Challenge, Swami Mukundananda makes it clear that our Happiness is in our own Mind and not based on external circumstances. Most of us believe that external circumstances are the source of our unhappiness. However, the fact is that we can't change the circumstances or the situations around us, but we definitely can change our own attitude towards them. To be happy, we need to shift our own attitude and train our mind to be happy. We should not allow the circumstances to dictate our happiness or unhappiness because we don't have control of it. The world is how we see it through our mind, let's make our mind beautiful and discover that happiness from within.
